Bilingual Community Manager Supervisor will support in the execution of the cross-channel initiatives that support overall digital goals and social media/content efforts across all MundoHispanico communities and supports our overall business resulting in increased brand awareness, consumer engagement, and sponsorship/marketing opportunities generation.

The ideal candidate is a flexible and motivated individual who with a strong digital marketing background and outstanding project management skills. You are a strong collaborator and effective influencer across business units, other internal teams, clients and partners. 

Will impact the quantity and quality of digital traffic while enhancing our digital communities with a blend of online branding experience combined with a flair for performance marketing, branded sponsored content and digital content creation. 

Responsibilities:
  • Help define each community with content, videos and multimedia elements that will support the traffic and engagement goals. 
  • Execute the content marketing strategy that resonates with the target audiences and supports and amplifies each sub-vertical brand and messaging
  • Manage a team of community managers in charge of social media channels, influencer campaigns, and publish original content on brand websites and through social channels
  • Oversee community management, to include monitoring social media channels including review sites, and replying/resolving consumer issues as needed
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and audience teams to establish brand guidelines for messaging, tone, style, and quality, and to ensure digital marketing campaigns are consistently meeting the MH standards
  • Support in the execution of partnerships with internal and external companies to do promotion, share content and deepen consumer engagement
  • Track industry and marketplace trends and innovation to ensure best practices
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Managing MiMundos and coordinating the implementation of the content strategy for each online community (80%)
  • Manage a team of freelance community managers in charge of social media channels, influencer campaigns, and publish original content on brand websites and through social channels
  • Monitors social media channels for each online community including review sites, and replying/resolving consumer issues as needed
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and audience teams to establish brand guidelines for messaging, tone, style, and quality, and to ensure digital marketing campaigns are consistently meeting the MH standards
  • Ensures the MH guidelines are implemented on the social media platforms. 
  • Propose new projects for the online communities, and is always on the look for implementing new ideas and changes into the communities. 
  • Works along with community manager and videographer on video projects ideas and productions.
  • Coordination of parnerships- agreements (15%)
  • Support in the execution of partnerships with internal and external companies to do promotion, share content and deepen consumer engagement.
  • Coordinate the work with community managers, writers and video producers. 
  • Report on the completion and execution of partnerships. 

Analysis and reporting (5%)
  • Keeps track of the performance of each community to report on trends and keeps the team informed 
  • Produce weekly report of performances and best and worst stories for each online community. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, advertising, social media or related field preferred
  • 5+ years experience of journalism, marketing, social media or related field
  • 3 or more years of management 
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish, social media knowledge, bilingual
  • Has experience managing a group of writers and multimedia producers, and social media experts
  • Is familiar with best practices for online content, including optimizing for SEO
  • Has a knack for identifying clicky topics and story angles that are highly shareable within the Hispanic community
  • Can direct content strategy at a high level while simultaneously staying on top of the day-to-day tasks of online publishing
  • Understands the value of headlines, images and video to maximize clicks and shares
  • Is psyched to work in a fast-paced and innovative newsroom
  • Is hard-working and willing to pitch in as needed
  • Enjoys developing and testing creative ideas we haven’t tried before
  • Brings a positive attitude and enthusiasm to the office
  • Able to work independently as well as cross-functionally with other team members from various backgrounds and departments including marketing/creative, internal business partners, and external agencies
