Videa is looking for a Front End Developer who is passionate about Software Development, and motivated to combine design and programming skills.
Responsibilities will include translation of design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will be part of the Technology team and work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to transform wireframes into applications that delight and impress our customers.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in working with a consumer facing website in corporate environment
  • 3+ years of experience with AngularJS and React/Redux.
  • Experience with UI unit testing is a must.
  • Knowledge of Webpack.
  • Web development experience using languages such as C#, Javascript, Python or Go is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in dealing with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL and Postgres is a plus.
  • Experience developing rich, complex web-based user interfaces.
  • Strong background working in a version controlled environment (Git).
  • Experience working with a .NET Framework stack.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5/CSS3.
  • Understanding of web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
  • Understanding of back-end services and gRPC is a plus.
  • Proficient with Google Analytics & other Google APIs a plus
  • AWS experience is plus
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:
  • Good problem solving, organizational, interpersonal and team skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with load testing, performance testing, and security testing.

Qualifications



Development:
  • Ownership, maintenance and improvement of UI frameworks
  • Develop software according to requirements to meet acceptance criteria
  • Develop software to company development standards
  • Develop Unit Tests to demonstrate completion of units of code
  • Adhere to ALM practices
Teamwork:
  • Participate in requirement sessions to help form appropriate requirement stories
  • Act as a fully engaged Scrum team member, aiding the team in any capacity needed (including QA if required)
  • Work with other team members to ensure sprints are completed on time for committed stories
  • Aid in Backlog grooming as needed
  • Participate in problem-solving/brainstorming sessions with other team members.
Troubleshoot:
  • Actively participate in Tier III support for products
  • Triage, investigate and resolve reported defects
  • Fine-tune system to improve performance and functional behavior
