This position is responsible for new business sales of digital marketing including placement on the Kudzu.com directory, Google Pay Per Click (PPC), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), website design, social media management, and more. The Account Executive will prospect for leads, cold call accounts, set face to face appointments, lead prospect meetings, and close new business sales. This role will work closely with other departments including account support (client services), sales associates (appointment setters), marketing and finance.
Duty: Prospecting 25%
Task 1: Identify new sales prospects via reviewing the competition, online searches, online tools, social media, and direct mail.
Task 2: Prepare for conversations with prospective customers by doing research about the business' online presence and what they need to do to improve.
Duty: Book meetings 25%
Task 1: Call prospective customers to book face to face sales meetings with them.
Task 2: Visit prospective customers in person to secure a face to face meeting.
Duty: Close new business revenue 50%
Task 1: Attend face to face meetings to close business.
Task 2: Conduct phone meetings with prospective customers.
Task 3: Follow up with prospective customers via phone and email to generate new business revenue for the business.Qualifications
Education: Bachelors’ degree
Digital marketing experience a plus.
1-2 years’ of sales experience.
