We are looking for a leader to open our Orlando or Miami office who is ready to quickly foster client relationships and create opportunities to drive growth.
Our ideal Client Engagement Director can articulate opportunity, collaborate across disciplinary teams to design the right strategic solutions, win business, execute projects, and manage internal relationships in order to best serve the client. The person will be responsible for sourcing brand new business in the Orlando or Miami area; engaging clients introduced to us by our Orlando or Miami media partners; and solving, proposing and closing client business challenges with agency solutions.

25%Prospecting: Identify qualified agency prospects in collaboration with our Cox media partners, and through business development activities. Cast vision by describing what is possible with agency services for clients and Cox colleagues through case studies, presentations and conversations
50%Pre-sale: Engage with prospective clients to assess their business challenges and propose imaginative agency services solutions that clients will invest in. This includes client engagement conversations, brainstorms, strategic marketing problem solving; creating winning proposals; presenting solutions to clients; closing business
25%Post-sale: Project manages closed business: manages relationship and communication with the client, gives direction to the creative and/or execution team, monitors internal and client ROI
50% - Pre-sale:
•Develop new client relationships through networking activities and ideally your own existing relationships
•Strategically engage Cox media clients with agency solutions when appropriate by collaborating with Cox media colleagues
•Identify and frame opportunities, develop approaches and propose imaginative agency solutions to a wide variety of business challenges
•Guide clients toward a strategic relationship
50% - Post-sale:
•Onboard new clients and communicate scope and needs with nuance to the Ideabar execution teams
•Magnify the voice of the client, keeping their interests, business opportunities and strategic needs front and center and report on ROI throughout their engagement
•Identify ways to improve client satisfaction and team collaboration
•Identify risks and work with the team to mitigate them
•Own positive relationships with clients
Own positive relationships with our Cox media colleagues
Education- Bachelor’s degree
Yrs & Type of Experience- 7+ years of work experience in consultative media and/or agency services sales or account management
•Digital marketing expertise
•3 years of client service experience with proven track record as a business partner and brand steward to executive-level clients
•Experience in business development
•Strong presentation and communication skills; able to interpret and distill complex information into succinct and clear proposals, decks, and project briefs and to deliver powerful and persuasive presentations.
•Strong instincts and are opportunity-driven. The know-how to go above and beyond to ensure client’s issues and requests are sufficiently resolved.
•A curiosity that leads you to proactively identify opportunities within the client’s organization and to define the business problem that VSA will help solve.
•A demonstrated ability to be forward-thinking and innovative, selling advanced strategic concepts and cross-disciplinary work, while understanding client needs
•An ability to navigate fast-paced and ever shifting landscapes and continue to define and refine overall approach.
