The National Digital Account Manager will be essential to the success of our growing team and will work closely with a team of National Account Executives & National Sales Managers. Your primary responsibility is coordinating and managing pre- and post-sale client and campaign management activities to deliver the highest value for our advertisers, agencies, and DSP/SSP partners.

You will be responsible for pre-sales proposals, post-sale campaign management/reporting/optimization, and identifying potential up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. You will manage the day-to-day interaction with national clients for a combination of display, video, and mobile campaigns across both direct/sponsorship and programmatic campaigns. The Digital Account Manager will be the primary liaison for national sales and internal partner teams that include ad operations, programmatic yield, sales development, and creative teams to ensure client success.

The National Digital Account Manager is an integral role within a fast-paced, high growth team. It requires self-motivation, enthusiasm, flexibility, resilience, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Be the primary liaison for the National Digital Sales team, clients, and internal partner teams
• Utilize knowledge of creative, data, media, and technology platforms to identify and match successful targets and solutions for clients across Cox Media Group’s digital media portfolio
• Oversee RFP requirements, strategic campaign planning, manage deliverables, coordinate creative requirements, campaign management, and reporting for national sales
• Partner with internal teams to ensure timely implementation of deliverables with Sales/Sales Development, Programmatic Yield, AdOps, Product, and Creative Services
• Provide recommendations for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities utilizing data-driven insights.
• Establish best practices and processes for workflow, implementation, and client relationship management to scale National Account Management efforts.
• Drive and exceed campaign/deal goals and ensure delivery for national digital campaigns/deals across display, video, mobile, social, and programmatic.


• 3+ years digital account management experience within an agency, publisher, or advertising technology environment
• Experience with optimization of digital ad campaigns for performance and branding KPIs across display, video, and mobile
• Knowledge of digital and programmatic ad platforms (DFP, AdX, DBM, Krux, Moat, etc.)
• Process improvement driven and ability to recognize areas for improvement
• Stellar client relationship management skills with a keen ability to proactively anticipate and provide solutions for customer needs
• Travel required ~ 15%
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer sciences or related field
